Ocean
County's Airport is an 822-acre facility located
in the heart of the NJ
Pinelands in Berkeley Township, five miles west of Toms River.
This precision approach facility features a 6,000-foot runway
and accommodates various aircraft, including private planes, small
corporate jets, forest fire planes, the Civil
Air Patrol and emergency services aircraft.
Ocean Aire, Inc. has been the full service FBO for the Airport
since 1998. They offer complete aircraft maintenance and support
services, charter, flight instruction, avionics, fuel, aircraft
management, sales, hangar rental, etc.
Freeholder
Joseph H. Vicari is the Airport Liaison on behalf of the Ocean
County Board of Chosen Freeholders, and the Airport is administered
by the Ocean County Department of
Planning. Many significant Airport improvements are in the
works, including a 3,600 foot Crosswind Runway, which will be
the first new runway built in New Jersey in over 25 years.
