| The Terminal Building amenities include a vending machine, 24-hour pay telephone, a small conference room and rest rooms. Plans are being developed for a new terminal building with many more amenities. The conference room seats approximately 10-12 persons and is available for the pilots' use by arrangement with Ocean Aire, the FBO (732-797-1077). |

| In Ocean County, Sheriff
William L. Polhemus serves as the Emergency Management Coordinator. He is responsible for overseeing and coordinating efforts in the event of any disaster whether it is "natural, technological, or man-made." Based at the RJ Miller Airport, the Ocean County Office of Emergency Management oversees and works with all thirty-three Municipal Offices of Emergency Management, assisting them in the development of Emergency Operations Plans for their jurisdiction, the exercising/testing of these plans, training of personnel and the identification of resources needed in an emergency. In addition, the K-9 operations are also based at the Airport. The Sheriff's Department's K9 Unit provides specialized dogs for Law Enforcement. In addition to dogs that are trained to detect drugs and bombs, etc, some dogs are specially trained in "Project Life Saver", which helps to locate Alzheimer patients who wander off. The RJ Miller Airport Off-Leash Dog Facility is one of two such amenities provided by the County, the other facility is located in Ocean County Park, Lakewood. The Off-Leash Dog Facilities are administered by the Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation. An Off-Leash Dog Park is a contained area where dog owners can allow their pets to run free, exercise and socialize with other non-aggressive dogs off-leash. Dog owners must register their dogs with the Parks Department and provide proof of valid dog licenses.
